  Anna Univ., Bahwan Cybertech sign MOU

Bahwan CyberTek Private Limited, a twelve year old fastest growing IT software products and services company in Asia Pac region signed memorandum of understanding with Ramanujan Computing Centre (RCC) located in Anna University to collaborate on a number of technology focused research and development activities that will couple strong academia, research with powerful technology in enterprise business solution. BCT has about 1,350 knowledge professionals, spread across the USA, Middle East, Africa and India.The MOU plans for cooperation on a variety of areas, including training, project consultancy and research. It also highlights plans for BCT to set up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Anna University.

Prof. P. Mannar Jawahar, Vice Chancellor – Anna University, said that the CoE to be established at RCC will be developed as a world-class, shared-use educational and R&D facility serving the student and industry community. Ms. Hind Suhail Bahwan, Chairperson, Bahwan CyberTek Group said that they wanted to continually innovate while contributing to the society. Mr. S Durgaprasad, Director & CEO, Bahwan CyberTek Group said that the association with his alma mater was special and it would build innovative solutions that will have a global impact.
