Asthma cannot be a hurdle to pursue one’s dreams is what David Grier and extreme athlete has to say. David who is an asthma patient has joined hands with Cipla Breathefree to overcome the stigma of the disease and be successful in sports as a career. David started by lending his support for Miles for Smiles India Challenge in November last from the Shankaracharya temple in Srinagar covering more than 4000 km to reach Kanyakumari in just 93 days. David covered these miles on foot, by running through the length and breath of the country. Miles for Smiles is an NGO that provide free surgery to children born with cleft upper lip and other facial deformities.
David (52) a citizen of South Africa is a successful restaurateur and also conducts cooking shows on television. David’s initiative to support Breathfree is a public service initiative from Cipla that strives to reach to asthma patients to help control the disease.
