  Jaya shuffles cabinet

New faces have been inducted in the cabinet with the chief minister pulling out six ministers to giving opportunity to newcomers.

 

S Damodaran will be the new agriculture minister, Mannargudi R Kamaraj will take charge of food ministry, Paranjothi was given DR&CE, Tamil culture, prevention of corruption, law, courts and prison. Dr S Sundararaj takes over Handloom and Textile, V Moorthy was allotted milk and dairy development and K T Rajendra Balaji takes over Information and special programme implementation.

 

The six ministers who lost their portfolios are C Shanmugavel, R B Udhayakumar, S P Shanmuganathan, N R Sivapathi, G Senthamizhan and Budhichandhiran.
