  Udayakumar case will be heard in Chennai

Any case pertaining to the sensitive Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant will be heard in Chennai informed the Madras High Court. Chief Justice M Yusuf Eqbal made it clear on January 10 that all cases that have any relation to Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant will be heard by the Madras High Court.

 

A petition was filed by R Sivakumar seeking the arrest of S P Udayakumar, Convenor, People’s Movement against Nuclear Energy (PMANE) under the National Security Act for inflammatory speeches against the state.
