Air India announces rate cut

Air India, the Indian government owned airlines company, has announced a rate cut of up to 70 per cent in select routes. The travelers can benefit from this rate cut this vacation season. According to Air India, 35 routes have been identified from the metropolitan cities that connect the two and three tier cities.

All that a traveler has to do is to book an Air India ticket at least 10 days prior, which means they have to shell

Air India
out just Rs. 2694, including all the charges. The rate will reduce to Rs. 2494 if one books 20 days in advance. These rates are valid till 30th June, 2009.
