Threat to airports and aircrafts

A fresh intelligence report suggests that all the functional Indian airports are under threat from terrorist outfits. Reports also say that there is a threat to hijack the planes. About 20 terrorist, including women, are said to have infiltrated into India to carry out the attacks. The high alert airports include Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai.

Additional police and CISF personnel have deployed to thwart any untoward incidents. The senior officials

are discussing various preventative measures. As a precautionary measure the Sky Marshals are posted in the aircrafts enroute sensitive areas.
