The
war of words has forced the Tamil
Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi
to call for a 12-hour bandh in the
state, to pressurize the centre to
stop war in Sri Lanka. He also called
all the political parties to join
the bandh.
The CM has asked the centre to give
an ultimatum to the Sri Lankan Government
for immediate and permanent ceasefire.
He also added that now the priority
is to stop the war and not banning
the LTTE. |
