A body of a 22- year-old engineering student
was found hanging in a hostel room. Raghuvaran,
a resident of Neyveli, was a mechanical engineering
student at the Vellammal Engineering College
in Surapet near Ambattur. He was in his fourth
year of study and with two more exams to go,
the student has taken this drastic step.
Yesterday, Raghuvaran went to his friend’s
room and hanged himself with a nylon rope.
Some of his friends took notice and informed
the police. Raghuvaran has also left a suicide
note stating, lack of confidence in himself
as the reason for this extreme step.
Both teachers as well as his friends did not
have any adverse opinion about the deceased.
The police are investigating about the cause
for the suicide. |
