Chennai Press Club gets new building

Chennai Press Club


The New building of Chennai Press Club, which is located at Chennai Omandur Government Estate, will be inaugurated by the former President of India Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on 14th April 2009 at 4.30 p.m.

The program will commence with a welcome speech by Bharathithamizhan, Joint Secretary, Chennai Press Club, the presidential address will be given by N Ram, Editor, The Hindu and President Building Renovation Committee of the Chennai Press Club, and a special address will be delivered by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and finally the vote of thanks by V Anbazhagan, Treasurer of the Chennai Press Club.

Mr. T.R. Pachamuthu, the founder and Chancellor of SRM University, will grace the occasion as a special guest. It is worth noting that the building was donated by the Valliammal Educational Trust under the aegis of SRM University.
