Jarnail Singh (Sikh reporter) hurled
a shoe at P Chidambaram, Union Home
minister during the course of a press
conference in New Delhi as a mark
of protest over the alleged clean
chit given by the CBI to Jagdish Tytler,
Congress leader in connection with
the 1984 Sikh riot case. The said
journalist was whisked away by the
security personnel.
