In a satirical taste, the MDMK cadres gifted kid’s goggles to the Union Home Minister P Chidambaram. The goggles were sent to his Delhi and Chennai addresses. During the 2004 election campaign, Chidambaram had stated, “So far, I looked at Sivaganga through the spectacles of India. Hereafter, I will look at India through the spectacles of Sivaganga.”
