A sequel to Da Vinci Code

The author of Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown disclosed that a sequel to the book, The Lost Symbol, will be released in September this year. As in the Da Vinci Code, The Lost Symbol will also have Robert Langdon as its main character.

In a interview to The Daily Telegraph, Dan Brown had said: “This novel has been a strange and wonderful journey. Weaving five years of research into the story's 12-hour time frame was an exhilarating challenge. Robert Langdon's life clearly moves a lot faster than mine.”

According to Sonny Mehta, the Chairman of the US-based Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group, the publishers of the novel, The Lost symbol will be a thriller and a compelling novel.
