Five Indian companies dropped from Forbes list

The good news is that 47 Indian companies have taken their place in the Forbes list of world’s biggest 2000 companies and the bad news is that five Indian companies were knocked out of the Forbes ‘Global 2000 list’ this year. Among them are, Satyam Computers, Unitech, Suzlon Energy, Reliance Power and Reliance Capital.

However, there are four new entrants to boast - Hero Honda Motors, Sun Pharma, Indian Bank and Jindal Steel and Power Ltd.

The toppers in the list are General Electric, Royal Dutch Shell, Toyota Motor, EzzonMobil and UK’s BP.
