It is predicted that 2009 will be an awful year and recovery is expected only at the beginning of 2010, according to International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Managing Director Dominique Strauss Kahn.

He also advised that the countries across the world should work on three areas, cleansing the bank balance sheets of toxic assets, continuing with fiscal stimulus in 2010 to revive the world economy and providing financial help to countries under pressure.
