Makkal TV has announced a mixed bag of special
programs to commemorate May Day. A bouquet
of program is waiting to be telecast on the
May Day. Some highlights of programs are,
to emphasize the importance of Labor Day,
interview with noted writers, poetry exclusively
to hail workers, live phone-in program where
you can share you wishes with co-workers.
There is a special program on railways porters
to salute the workmanship. This will be followed
by a live phone-in program that will discuss
the labor rights issue. A special kids’
model parliament will be worth a watch at
12 noon. Get to meet first generation entrepreneurs
who have risen high from dust in ‘Uzhaipoam
Uyarnthoam’.
A Russian film “Struggle for Motherland”
will be a treat especially on May Day that
portrays the background of freedom struggle
and of course ‘Chinna Chinna Aasai’
to bring to life the dreams of children who
are poverty stricken.
Dr Ramadoss visits his friends and relatives
in ‘Oorkolam’. There is program
for history lovers too, a satirical show on
labor revolution and capitalism. How can on
