Asthma death due to negligence of school authorities - Students

The dead of the 17-year-old Akriti, who died due to the alleged negligence of the school authorities, resulted in a clash between the parents of the deceased and students on one side and the school authorities on the other.

According to witnesses, the student Akriti Bhatia of Modern School, New Delhi, suffered an asthma attack and the establishment was late in calling the ambulance. The students also stated that the oxygen mask was removed while on the way to the hospital causing the death.
