Rajapaksa willing to pass on Prabhakaran to India

The Sri Lankan President Rajapaksa had made it very clear in an interview to a news channel that there is no ceasefire and only usage of heavy weapons and air strikes will be stopped.

Rajapaksa said, “It is not a ceasefire. Freeing the people who are kept there as hostages is my duty.”

Speaking about the LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran, Rajapaksa said that Prabhakaran

Rajapaksa

would be handed over to India if caught alive after a trial in Sri Lanka. He added that Prabhakaran is responsible for killing Rajiv Gandhi and hence will be handed over to India.
