S S Chandran was replaced by S M K
Mohammed Ali Jinnah in another turn
of events by the AIADMK chief J Jayalaithaa
on Wednesday. This was announced during
a public meeting in Chennai. Jinnah
will take on Dayanidhi Maran (DMK)
from the Central Chennai constituency.
The change was made on the request
of Chandran as he had suffered chest
pain and was advised rest by the doctors.
