Sachin unveils his wax replica

A wax model of India’s master blaster Sachin Tendulkar will be seen at the Madame Tussauds museum, London shortly. This wax figurine will be open for public from April 24th. Coincidentally, it is Sachin’s birthday!

This is a great honor for the all-rounder, as he is the first sportsperson from India to make an appearance in the Tussauds.

Taken aback by his copy, Sachin said, “To have

Sachin Tendulkar
something which is identical; I'm glad he doesn't breathe. But it's that close. (My son) Arjun wanted to take the bat (off the statue) and start playing. But I had to tell them not to get too close to it. I don't react to something so easily. The least I can say is that it's fantastic. Fabulous!”

Some of the other big names in cricket who have found their place in Madam Tussauds are Brian Lara, Shane Warne and Sir Ian Botham.
