Apr 02, 2009 01:10 PM

It is now evident that Sanjay Dutt can’t contest the elections as per Supreme Court orders. Now the big question is: who will substitute Sanjay.

Speaking to a news channel Amar Singh, Sanjay’s mentor, stated that the decision will be made soon. They also ruled out the possibility of Mrs. Sanjay Dutt contesting the elections as she is more of a housewife material. Though, other possibilities like Jaya Bachchan also was ruled out as fielding Jaya

would mean the whole Bachchan family would be forced into campaigning, which the Bachchans are not interested right now.

Amar Singh also stated that Sanjay is like a Hanuman as his tail is set on fire by the Congress. He added that Sanjay will do the campaigning even though he cannot contest the polls.

Sanjay yesterday confirmed that he received a phone call from a Union Minister’s aide, threatening him of dire consequences if he joined the Samajwadi Party. Sanjay refused to let out the name of the concerned person who made the threatening call.
