Dr
Tahira Agarwal, eminent ophthalmologist
and wife of Dr T Agarwal passed away
on April 13, she was 78.
She was instrumental in starting the
Agarwal eye hospital in 1957. The
hospital has branched out since then
to nearly 27 centers. She had trained
number of physicians in the procedures
of removing eyes after death and was
also a staunch disseminator of eye
donation. |
