Varun Gandhi is currently lodged in the Etah Jail for his inflammatory speech during the election campaign in Philibit. He was shifted from the Philibit jail due to security reasons. When Varun’s mother Maneka Gandhi went to meet her son in the Etah jail she was denied permission. The reason given was that a prisoner lodged under the National Security Act can be visited only twice a week. Manaka having already visited her son earlier was told to come back on April 8th.
