Several politicians, including Rahul Gandhi will be worst affected if the Blackberry is banned in India. It may be recalled that the Union Home Ministry has issued an ultimatum to the maker of Blackberry, Research in Motion (RIM), to resolve the security issues by August 31st or face a ban.

Blackberry is a popular phone among the businessmen, politicians and students as it has several high-profile features. Among list of prominent people using this phone is Rahul Gandhi, Pranab Mukherjee and AK Antony. It is worth mentioning here that the Telecom Minister A Raja and the Home Minster P Chidambaram, who have brought this issue to the fore, do not use this phone.
