A sadhu from Gujarat has filed a case on Monday demanding criminal prosecution of union Home Minister P.Chidambaram for his remarks on 'saffron terrorism' that has angered Hindu priests and saints'.

Sections 499 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code has been filed by Sadhu Nijanand who lives in Radhanpur at the metropolitan magistrate's court here, contending that saffron is a colour generally associated with saints who cherish the values of non-violence as a principle of faith.
