The policemen then took the girl to the Pondy Bazaar police station where she was detained till she regained consciousness. Early on Friday morning, she asked the policemen to call her mother. The 50-year-old woman came to the police station and took her daughter, who had still not entirely recovered from the influence of alcohol.
