  656 Indians in the Interpol wanted list

As per the protocol followed, if a citizen of any country is arrested for an offence in a foreign land, the name is sent to the Interpol, the international crime police organization.

Delhi resident Ashwini, under the RTI Act, sought the details of the Indians in the Interpol wanted list. Following this, it has been disclosed that 656 Indians are in their wanted list. Most of them are wanted for terrorist activities and child rape cases. This list is for the past years (2005-2010).
