  August 24, 2010 09.15 AM

Reacting to the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam President Vijayakanth’s statement that he would not forge an alliance with DMK or AIADMK in the forthcoming elections as both these parties are known for corruption, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi said that Vijayakanth is not the right person to talk about corruption as a large amount of the salary he receives for starring in films is not included in the taxable income.

The CM furthered that he is using the money derived from writing scripts for movies for social service while Vijayakanth, who gets lakhs of Rupees as salary for acting in a single film is doing all that he can to evade tax.
