  Police round up leading IT Company

National security guard (NSG) and Swift Action Group (SAG) commandos belonging to Chennai City police conducted a mock drill on ‘terror’ siege at a leading software company in Semmanchery on Wednesday night.

The personnel pretending to be terrorists stormed into the software company and took some of the software engineers as hostages.

On seeing this company officials immediately alerted the police, who in turn alerted the NSG personnel and SAG personnel. “Police personnel who came in immediately collected the building map and another team of personnel entered into the building to counter the ‘terror’ strike armed with all sophisticated gadgets.

In three hours the teams cornered all the ‘terrorists’ and nabbed them. The hostages were released later. A senior police officer said Fire and rescue service personnel also assisted the NSG and SAG personnel with the drill’’.
