  Ban on 1000 and 500 rupee notes

The Nepal government has banned tourists from carrying 1000 and 500 Indian rupees notes into the country. The tourists have been asked not to spend 500 and 1000 notes inside the country as it has been banned. All tourists are therefore requested to carry only 100 rupee notes or of a lesser denomination.
