T N CM and DMK President M Karunanidhi
demanded former LTTE leader Mr. Kumaran Pathmanathan to come out
with the facts relating to the end of Elam War.
Karunanidhi sought explanation from Kumaran Pathmanathan who had
said that the role of some political leaders from Tamil Nadu must
be investigated that made the efforts to arrive at a ceasefire in
Sri Lanka's war against the LTTE.
In a statement Mr.Karunanidhi pointed out that KP had contended
that MDMK leader Vaiko had stood in the way of a ceasefire. Karunanidhi
said that KP had commented that Mr.Vaiko influenced a change in
the decision of the LTTE leadership to enter into a ceasefire because
if such a development occurs, then all the credit would go to the
Congress and the DMK. |
