  Vijayakanth hits back at Karunanidhi
  August 25, 2010 04.00 PM

A day after Chief Minister M Karunanidhi alleged that Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) leader Vijayakanth was receiving black money through his films it was Vijayakanth’s turn to react. For the last 25 years he had been spending a major portion of his income on the poor and not keeping it in bank lockers or as assets hit back Vijayakanth.

Reacting to Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi's criticism Mr. Vijayakant said: ‘’It is not important how you earn money, but how you spend it.” He said that he had donated his brand new ‘kalyana mandapam' built at Mamandur to the people right after the construction.
