Bikes for ambulance
February 13, 2009
The congested roads and never ending traffic signals are a major hindrance to life saver ambulance. In order to provide respite, one of Chennai’s leading hospitals, Malar Hospital will be launching ‘motorbike ambulance’. Bikes can reach the victims in lesser time when compared to a four wheeler.

The bikes will be equipped with life saving medicines, emergency gadgets like automatic defibrillators to stabilize the patient and once the four wheeler arrives the victim can be transported to the hospital. By providing immediate medical aid, the patient can be put out of immediate danger.

The patient can wish to go to any hospital of his choice and there is no compulsion that they should be admitted at Malar Hospitals, stated Dr.Sanjiv Agarwal.
