was tested on prairie voles, a mouse like
animal found in the plains of US and Canada.
The voles exhibit a life long relationship
with the partner, but when the chemical
hormone oxytocin is injected into the brain
of the female vole, she leave her partner
and gets attracted to the next male vole.
The chemical reaction takes place in her
brain causing the change of partner. This
same concept can help trigger changes in
human behavior, it is studied.
According to the scientist this can help
in bonding couples who look for marital
therapy.
