At the time when the new Obama government tightened its strings on Immigrant population in the country, a window of hope has been opened to acquire US citizenship. The decade long process to acquire citizenship can now take just six months.

The US military will be taking in new immigrant recruits. The qualifications are H1-B visa and a minimum two years in the United States. With the deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan growing thinner, this new option has been sought out.

Green card holders are already eligible for military services, but temporary immigrants getting into armed forces and road to citizenship has given a new dimension to the war angle. Can we call it war outsourcing?
