Intelligence agencies suspect that the al-Qaeda,
Let and Taliban may have sneaked women suicide
bombers inside the country to create havoc
in the mainland, along with the help of ISI.
The al-Qaeda has increased it women recruitment
recently, after failure to conduct the same
type of attacks. These women are given intense
training. The agency suspected this even before
the confession of Samira Ahmed Jassim al-Azawi,
who was responsible for training 80 women
suicide bombers in Diyala Province of Iraq.
In a statement, NSG director general J K Dutt,
stressed on more women in security forces
to tackle this situation. He also weighed
importance to developing sophisticated standard
operating procedures. Terming
this as a low possibility but high consequence
threat, Dutt said speaking at a seminar
at NSG’s training headquarters that,
the al-Qaeda resorted to using nerve gas
and women suicide bombers in 1995 in Tokyo.
