Women suicide bombers in India?

Intelligence agencies suspect that the al-Qaeda, Let and Taliban may have sneaked women suicide bombers inside the country to create havoc in the mainland, along with the help of ISI. The al-Qaeda has increased it women recruitment recently, after failure to conduct the same type of attacks. These women are given intense training. The agency suspected this even before the confession of Samira Ahmed Jassim al-Azawi, who was responsible for training 80 women suicide bombers in Diyala Province of Iraq.

In a statement, NSG director general J K Dutt, stressed on more women in security forces to tackle this situation. He also weighed importance to developing sophisticated standard operating procedures.

Terming this as a low possibility but high consequence threat, Dutt said speaking at a seminar at NSG’s training headquarters that, the al-Qaeda resorted to using nerve gas and women suicide bombers in 1995 in Tokyo.
