Popular Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s father Tahir Hussain died on Tuesday morning following a massive heart attack.

Aamir and wife Kiran are in the US for the Sundance Festival and are hurrying back home for the last rites.

Hussain a producer and director, has films like Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Dulha Bikta Hai, Zakhmee, Anamika, Caravan and Tum Mere Ho to his credit. The last of which he directed with Aamir and Juhi in the lead.

Hussian died at Aamir’s residence in Bandra, he is survived by two sons Aamir and Faisal and two daughters Farhat and Nikhat.
