Abhinav Bindra strikes gold again

February 05, 2010 02:21 PM

Olympic gold medal winner Abhinav Bindra won the gold medal in the Inter Shoot Championships in Netherlands. This comes after the National Rifles Association of India (NRAI) accused him of not attending trials in India.

Bindra, who is now in Europe undergoing training for the World Championships and the Commonwealth Games, won the first gold medal after the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

The ace shooter shot 596 out of 600 in the 10m air rifle event, which is similar to his Beijing qualification score.
