The eighth edition of Chennai Marathon is scheduled on February 21, 2010. It will be organized by Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT).

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Stalin has launched the Logo and Website for the event yesterday.

Those who are willing to participate can register at all the stadiums under the authority’s control in the city and the SDAT headquarters.

Participant can also register themselves through internet. Sources say that more than 30,000 participants are expected for the event.

Participants can choose either Full Marathon or Half Marathon. Full Marathon has the distance of 42.2Km and for Half Marathon it is 21.1 Km.
