Jayaram’s house was attacked
by a Tamil chauvinist group today
for his derogatory comments on Tamil
women folk in a Malayalam TV channel.
Jayaram resides at Valsarawakkam,
Chennai and when the angry mob attacked,
his mother, wife, children and servants
were inside the house. Though, none
were hurt during the incident.
The actor’s car and window
panes of his house were shredded by
the group and they also set fire to
the house, though the exact damage
is not known.
The police have arrested 8 persons
in this connection and they are on
the look out for others.
After the incident police protection
has been given to the actor and his
family members.
