Chief Minister greets A R Rahman

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi greeted ‘the Mozart of Madras’ A R Rahman for winning two Grammy awards for his song 'Jai Ho' and music score in Oscar-award winning film Slumdog Millionaire.

Chief Minister said the A R Rahman was rightly chosen for the prestigious awards.

Karunanidhi conveyed his hearty congratulations to Indian music maestro Rahman for attaining the top position in music.

Karunanidhi stated, ''I am extremely happy that you have been rightly chosen for two prestigious Grammy awards. Tamil Nadu feels proud on this grand occasion of her son getting the highest global musical awards.''
