Director Seeman’s Naam Thamizhar Association is said to be behind the attack on Jayaram’s house. The attack, it may be recalled, followed due to an interview in which Jayaram said that the Tamil women look like buffalos. About twelve people from Naam Thamizhar Association have been arrested so far and a case has been filed against Seeman for instigating violence.

Reacting to this, Seeman said that he is not the one that has instigated violence. He added that such cases against him have been foisted to scare him off. The director had also appealed to the government to file a case against Jayaram, as his late apologies will not suffice.
