Fourteen-year-old girl survives the Yemenia Air crash

A 14-year-old girl has survived the Yemenia Air crash which was happened at the Indian Ocean. Sources say that the girl is currently under medical treatment in the Comoros Island hospital.

The Red Cross spokeswoman Ramulati Ben Ali said, “The girl, aged 14, has arrived at the El Maarouf hospital. We were told that her condition is not worrisome.” She also said that the girl is only one survivor found so far.

Here is how the rescue was done: Initially the teenager was found swimming in choppy waters in the middle of bodies and plane debris around 4:00 am (0100 GMT).

The rescuers initially threw a lifebuoy which she failed to grab, and then a rescuer jumped into the water to save her.

The doctor treating her said “She is conscious, she is speaking, but we are trying to warm her up because she was freezing.”

”We are trying to get her back in shape, but we are not asking her too many question as not to tire her,” he added
