With Nandan Nilekani, moving out to head a government project, speculations are high on who will head Infosys.

Speaking on this to a new channel, Infosys chairman and mentor Narayana Murthy stated, “It is true that the departure of somebody as important as Nandan leaves an important void but the beauty of the organisation is that it quickly fills that hole and moves on.”

Murthy also agreed that he had a pretty close relationship with Nandan, despite both having diverse ideas on lot of issues.

On Friday, Infosys saw a dip in the revenue by 2.9 percent when compared to the fourth quarter last fiscal.

The founder of Infosys also said that he had met five CEOs in Germany last week and two in New York. The decision on who will fill the gap remains uncertain yet.
