The AIADMK supremo stated that her party men took bribe and worked for the DMK victory in the recent Lok Sabha polls.

Jayalalithaa who flew to Pollachi to attend a wedding of a party functionary said that some of her party men have worked for the rival camp and brought victory to them. She also appealed to her cadres to remain loyal to the party and defeat their rivals.

Jaya stated, “Our party is like a family. None of our party members should yield to others. We cannot and should not blame the voters for our defeat. Voters wished for AIADMK's victory, but the results came contrary to their expectations.”

She also blamed the police and government officials for being instrumental for the DMK victory.
