The
Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee
presented the budget in the Lok Sabha
on Monday. It is seen as a pro poor
budget with welfare schemes offered
for the rural India.
While presenting the budget, the finance
minister hopped two paragraphs, which
he did not realize until a note was
kept before him. He immediately apologized
and asked permission from the Speaker
to revert back to the left out paragraphs.
Despite protest from the opposition,
Pranab Mukherjee, read out the previously
skipped paragraphs with the connivance
of the Speaker Meira Kumar.
The two missed out paragraphs consisted
details of allocations for the minorities.
