Trouble in Rahul’s constituency

Power cuts have being worrying the residents of Rahul Gandhi’s constituency and they came to the street to protest by hurling bricks and damaging a PAC vehicle.

The national highway was blocked after a prolonged power cut and one PAC jawan was injured.

The protesters, including traders and functionaries of bar association, blocked the traffic and demanded sufficient power supply to the region. The demonstrators also accused the authorities of supplying electricity only for six to eight hours in the region.

Schools and colleges remained closed due to the agitations.
