Farrah Fawcett an American actress
who starred as a famous Charlie’s
angle’s girl died in Southern
California hospital. She was 62.
The announcement was made by her long
time companion Ryan O'Neal, who earlier
this week announced their intention
to marry.
Our sources also say that the actress
had a tough battle with cancer over
the past three years.
Fawcett was married to Lee Majors,
star of TV the Six Million Dollar
Man, from 1973–1982, though
the couple separated in 1979. During
her marriage, she was known and credited
in her roles as Farrah Fawcett-Majors.
From 1982 until her death, Fawcett
was involved romantically with actor
Ryan O'Neal. The relationship produced
a son, Redmond O'Neal, born in 1985.
In a statement O’Neal said "After
a long and grave battle with cancer
our beloved Farrah has passed away.
Though this is an extremely difficult
time for her family and friends, we
take comfort in the beautiful times
we shared with Farrah over the years,
and the knowledge that her life brought
joy to so many people around the world."
"Farrah had courage, she had
strength and she had faith. And now
she has peace as she rests with the
real angels," said Jaclyn Smith,
who co-starred with Fawcett in Charlie's
Angels.
