Reservation for women in government jobs: PC

The bill on reservation for women in government jobs will be taken up during the upcoming parliament session, said the Union Home Minister P Chidambaram.

While addressing a meeting in Sivaganga to thank the voters, the Home minister said, “At present, there is no reservation for women in government jobs. We will bring forward a bill providing reservation for women in government jobs.”

The 33 percent reservation for women will be cleared, he expressed confidently.
