Anbumani to be in good terms with Sonia

The PMK has decided to walk out of the UPA after much apprehension. While talking to a TV channel, the Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss who is all set to resign shortly told that the decision was taken with the full connivance of the party cadres. He stated that the AIADMK got 2450 votes and the DMK got just 150 votes. The decision was taken democratically, he stated.

Tamil Nadu and both the AIADMK as well ass the DMK had been in alliance with the Congress and BJP earlier.

Anbumani emphasized that he will continue to have good relationship with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.

Talking about antagonizing people like Shah Rukh Khan with his anti-tobacco campaign, he stated that he is a fan of Shah Rukh and wants him to live longer by quitting smoking.
