The Congress Party is calling for a ban on Chiranjeevi films. A complaint has been lodged by the Congress Party to the Election Commission asking them to ban private TV channels from telecasting Chiranjeevi’s films.

Chiranjeevi is the chief of the newly formed Praja Rajyam party. The actor-turned-politician stated that even if his films are not shown on TV, his image cannot be removed from the hearts of the people.
